We live within a system. We need to utilise automation, ML, anything efficient. Systems for building, running, improving, connecting, leveraging, sharing, are our best friends. # I'm Tia. I'm less interested in asking "Who is the problem?" than "What is producing this outcome?" I tend to look for the structures underneath things: incentives, feedback loops, power, information flows, unintended consequences, and the assumptions everyone has stopped questioning. I'm interested in how apparently separate problems connect—and whether changing one part of a system could improve several things at once. My background crosses psychology, criminology, technology, governance and social systems, but the common thread is the same: understanding why systems behave the way they do, especially when good people inside them keep producing bad outcomes. I like first principles, uncomfortable questions, open systems, and solutions that reduce the need for control rather than simply creating better controllers. I mostly try, when I first meet or think about an individual, to map out their life mentally from birth till now. If I don't have the details I try to picture a likely approximation anyway. Then I try to go further back one or two generations. To enrich the picture. This exercise is interesting because contempt becomes almost impossible. Think about humans you have known when they were little kids. We can't help seeing them differently. # Scrolling The only purpose of a computer is getting more time for life through its use. Parkour is the antonym of scrolling. Looking at the environment and considering moves based on our body in space. # Direction Right now. These are not the words I want to write.
